“Hatch a Cat” – Interactive Simulation
This project shows off a simulation of how someone would interact with this narrative experience I created. The story tells of an egg discovered by a scientific organization and one scientist is tasked with learning everything about the egg and the creature within. However, after a bond between the two start to form, the organization decides to cancel the experiment and getting rid of the creature. The scientist is then faced with the options of simply letting the creature go or going against the organization and saving it. This project was created in tandem with a book that tells a similar narrative, but differs in the fact that it is a journal, written as a first hand account of someone who finds a similar egg and raises the creature on their own.
