Pokemon Original Sprite Inspired Redraws

This three piece series from January 2021 is inspired by the original Pokemon Red and Green games from Japan. I redrew the three starter pokemon characters (Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle) as if they were more like the silly original sprite-based versions found in the game, before they were updated to be more accurate to the official illustrations for the Japanese Pokemon Blue updated version and the international Pokemon Red and Pokemon Blue versions.

Art Fight 2021

In the summer of each year, an art event called Art Fight takes place where two teams “fight” it out by drawing art for the opposing team.
These are the pieces I drew during the 2021 Art Fight.
